gluten-free apple and plum crumble
serve hot with cold double cream or custard, or perhaps accompany it with some vanilla ice cream, and enjoy! serves: 4-5.
ingredients

150g gluten-free plain flour (i use doves farm)
100g unsalted butter
85g caster sugar
filling
7 medium-sized eating apples (peeled and chopped)
7 small Mirabelle plums (chopped)
1 tbsp caster sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
method
preheat your oven to 200c/180 fan/gas mark 6.
for the crumble topping, add the flour, butter and 85g of the sugar into a bowl and rub together with your fingertips until you get a crumbly texture.
add the fruit to the baking dish and mix with the remaining sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
place your crumble topping on top of the fruit mixture, firm it down gently and bake for 25-30 minutes (or until golden brown).
