with the ever-changing nature of the modern diet, many of us are becoming more aware of what we eat. enjoying homemade food that is gluten-free and sustainable is within your grasp!

about me – ellie.

having been interested in food from an early age, forming strong memories of baking rock cakes and scones with my grandma, i went on to do a gcse in food science and nutrition and a level 3 diploma in food and nutrition.

i have a keen interest in developing my skills as a cook and baker, and showcasing the amazing variety of vegetarian dishes out there – i made the change to pescetarianism in 2019 when i became concerned about the effects of the meat trade on our planet: did you know that meat production has roughly the same environmental impact as all the driving and flying of every car, truck and plane on the planet?

as well as this, i am an avid photographer – my dad and i particularly love capturing wildlife and planting around our little village and i am looking forward to developing my food photography skills as my blog develops.
